Welcome to the Mystery Cafe's traveling troupe page. We have been doing one-of-a-kind mysteries for over 19 years for groups as small as 12 and as large as 500. We perform locally in the Greater Boston area, and have local troupes in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Altanta, Philadelphia, Washington, DC & Southern Virginia in Richmond, Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Some shows are customized, some are better for small audiences, others for large audiences, some are great team builders others take you back in time. All of our shows include lots of audience participation, comedy, and music.

Join the Bumbling Bobbies for the high-energy, laugh-a-minute team-building comedy: Partners in Crime! Their warmth and good-natured foolery invite participants to let loose and have fun! Partners in Crime is 3-scene comedy that’s designed to be performed around a three-course meal.
During the intermission, teams are encouraged to create a solution to the mystery. There is no right answer! This is an exercise in creativity, and, along with using the evidence recorded in Scene Two, teams are encouraged to incorporate details from their work environment into the solutions.
Scene Three will reveal all the solutions! As a result of creating their solutions based on the evidence from Scene Two, these solutions often contain striking similarities, reveal shared experiences from work, and serve to strengthen relationships and camaraderie within your group. A “winning” solution is chosen. Prizes are awarded to the five audience members who played parts in the show, as well as to the winning team.
Partners In Crime can work with a luncheon, dinner or any type of meeting in almost any venue including boats, trains, boardrooms, hotel meeting rooms and lounges. The suggested audience size is 20 to 60 people.
Congratulations! Your group gets to relax at
a tropical-themed luau, complete with
music, dancing, and leis. But when one of
the tiki gods’ shrines is disrupted, a curse is
placed upon you all. Can you work together
to solve puzzles, unravel clues, and
ultimately break the curse before the night
(or day) is over?
Complete with mysterious characters, an
interesting storyline, and comedic elements
throughout, this team bonding event is fun,
intelligent, and very exciting!

The Revolutionary Feast
The Revolutionary Feast is a spoof of the traditional American officers mess dinner set in New England at the end of the War of Independence.
Trial by Dinner
A hilarious "spoof on justice" that runs the length of the evening meal. Quite simply, the dining audience is plunged into an ongoing court session during dinner replete with judge's bench and witness stand in the middle of their dining environment.
The Mobfather (25-200 persons)
You are invited to attend a surprise 40th birthday party for the Mobfather leader of Boston Mafia. But it is the guests who are surprised when gunshots are fired and the doors are blocked and there's no way out until the family honor has been restored and the killer captured. Enjoy an interactive Murder Mystery up close and personal with your favorite Hollywood mobsters including Marlin Brand "O". Our talented actors add comedy and intrigue and personalized anecdotes to make this a night to remember.
Law and Murder (25-200)
In the Criminal Justice System the people are represented by two separate, yet equally ridiculous groups. The police who complain about crime and the District Attorneys who use the big words. These are their stories…Join New York City Detectives Benny Cisco and Reynaldo Hogan and Assistant District Attorney Jayne McShy in the investigation and prosecution of a vicious knife wielding killer, who might be you! Or maybe you’ll be the District Attorney, Defense Council, or even a forensic expert. In the Mystery Café’s newest send up, Law & Murder, audience members play everything from the victim to the judge.
Murder Speaks Easy (25-150)
Another night at "The Forgotten Club" in downtown Seedsville. Fat Gutsby and his gang serve up the hottest hooch in town. Molls and mobsters mingle with stars and suspects. It's the Roaring 20s, rolling with gang rivalry, raucous entertainment and deadly revolvers.
Margarita’s Murder Mystery Cruise (160 Max)
Welcome aboard Margarita's Mystery Cruise, where you'll have a "license to fill" your night with a "murder in paradise". Enjoy a great "Buffet" while solving the murder. All you have to do is figure out how and why yet another bartender has been "wasted away again." Who did it? Could the killer be Margarita the party host, Jim Slim the snack delivery man and Peter Parrot the entertainer? Question the suspects during the 2 and a half hour cruise and maybe you could earn the title of super sleuth and win the prize.
Death By Disco (40-200)
The “Softly Silver Dancers” a successful 70s dance group is coming back and a big party has been set up to celebrate but will a murder spoil the celebration? Come solve the mystery, and boogie on down. Music, dancing, singing and a bunch of outrageous characters in 70s outfits will make this a night to remember.
Elvis the Murder Mystery (40-200)
Don't be cruel as you enjoy the talent, dance with your blue suede shoes and watch for clues as you could be leaving Heartbreak Hotel straight for Jail house Rock with a face as long as a hound dog!
Bada Boom (25-75)
Now you can join Bugsy and his 'gang' and become a Meal And Fun Interactive Audience member... or MAFIA for short. And as a MAFIA member you'll get to see if you have what it takes to join the Family or just die laughing. Bada bing, Bada Boom! Don't make me tell you twice.
